A: The website migration service on offer at Domain Cloud Host is totally free and involves moving all your website files, databases and e–mails from your current hosting provider to your new hosting account with us. We’ll also revise all the settings required for your sites to be fully operational on our ultra–modern cloud hosting platform.Our technicians are completely capable of transferring any sort of site. With years of work experience behind their backs, they are experts in the inner workings of our hosting platform, our Control Panel and all other popular Control Panels. For them, transferring a custom application with multiple custom libraries is as elementary as moving a plain WordPress–based blog.

A: There are lots of aspects to think about – the overall number of web files, the physical size of the database, the complexity of the site itself and the present workload of our website migration experts, etc. However, we do our very best to accomplish all website migrations in a 48–hour time window. Smaller web sites are migrated much faster – usually within 24 hours.

A: We do not collect any private info. We will require, however, the login info for your current web hosting account along with the name of the website that you’d like to move.

A: In order for us to start the transfer of your account, you must already have an account with us. Opening an account with us requires that you to share pretty much the same info you have given to your old hosting provider. We also have an extremely rigid Privacy Policy, which specifies how private information is dealt with.

A: Your website will continue to work just like it did before with your previous web hosting provider. As soon as we are done with the transfer, your website will be configured to work on our hosting platform and we will alert you to preview it. If everything is working properly, all you will need to do is edit the name server records for your domain. Your website will be transferred over to us without any downtime whatsoever.

A: While we migrate your content, your web hosting provider won’t be aware of the migration at all. We will never touch base with them in any way.

A: Yeah. We support all conventional Linux–driven hosting platforms. We don’t support Windows–powered web hosting platforms, as we do not provide Windows web hosting services ourselves.Furthermore, we do not support proprietary site creation and management user interfaces such as Wix, BaseKit, Jimdo, Website Tonight, Four Square, Mr Site, etc.
